Frequently Asked Questions Locations of Commonly Hard-to-Find Applications: If you do not see the Applications menu, ask a consultant to fix this for you! Word / Excel / PowerPoint - Microsoft Office SPSS 14.0 Visual Studio 2005 - Only available on a certain number of computers in each lab. MS SQL Server - Only available in the back lab of the Business Lab SAP GUI - Only available in the back lab of the Business Lab Printing Questions You will need a UCF ID card to pay for your print jobs and an NID to login in the lab.  Printing in black&white costs $.05 a page and color costs $.25 a page. Step-by-step Printing 1) Login to a computer in the lab To log into a computer in the lab, you would use your NID as your username and Pyymmdd (P Year, Month and Day of your birthday) as the default password. 2) Print You will then select print on the application of choosing and pick <lab>_bw for normal jobs or <lab>_color for color jobs. 3) Login to a release station Release stations are next to the printer you wish to use. The username and password is the same information as you used for the station you logged into. If you changed your password when you logged in, use the new password. 4) Insert your UCF ID card Wait for the card reader to display a value on the lcd. If your card is being ejected without reading, use a white eraser or thumb to remove any dirt from the chip on the card. If the card still does not read you will need to see the UCF Card Office. 5) Select your print job and click on the Print selected button. Obstacles to avoid: Count the pages that should be printed, if the release station and your count do not match, ask a consultant before you print. Don't print more than a few print jobs at a time, PowerPoint slides and PDFs can take a long time, if you print very large selections, the printer will jam or will take a very long time to print     How can I reset my password? You can reset your Webct, Webcourses, Lan account, Pegasus Webmail, and MyUCF account in any of the 4 labs before 5pm. After 5pm you can reset any password except for your MyUCF, which you can call the Helpdesk at 407-823-5117 or stop by the West Lab located in CC2 room 104. How can I add money to my UCF Card? You can use a Cash to Chip machine located in the Business and Classroom labs, in the hallway in the Computer Center II building, or at various locations around campus. The machines take 1$, 5$, 10$ and 20$ bills. You can also use Webrevalue to add money using a debit or credit card. Step 1) go to the website www.ucfcard.ucf.edu Step 2) click on WebRevalue and follow through the quick process of entering information from your UCF card Step 3) once you have followed the links and gone through epay; bring your UCF card over to the NID lookup station Step 4) Close the lookup NID window and click on the link WebRevalue Step 5) Insert your UCF card into the card reader, click revalue purse, enter your pin and you will have the money on the card.
